Rental Requirements & Policies
Insurance Requirements
- All renters must provide proof of valid auto insurance or credit card coverage.
- Universal Motion vehicles are insured, but renters are liable for any physical damage.
- Most Visa and MasterCard policies include rental coverage—check with your provider.
Driver Eligibility
- Valid G-class (or equivalent) driver’s license required.
- Minimum age: 25 years.
- Up to 2 drivers allowed free; additional drivers may incur a fee.
Fuel & Kilometre Allowance
- Rentals include 200 km/day, 1,400 km/week, or 4,500 km/month.
- Extra kilometres: $0.20/km.
- Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level (usually full). Refuelling fees apply otherwise.
One-Way Rentals
- Available upon request.
- Drop-off fee starts at $100; confirm at time of booking.
Vehicle Condition & Smoking
- Vans must be returned in clean condition.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited. Detailing fees apply for smoke odour or damage.
Cancellation Policy
Peak Season (May 1–Oct 15; Dec 20–Jan 2; Good Friday–Easter Monday):- Cancel 7+ days in advance: No fee
- Cancel 48–7 days in advance: 1-day fee
- Cancel <48 hours: 2-day fee
- Cancel 24+ hours in advance: No fee
- Cancel <24 hours: 1-day fee

Can you deliver the van to my location?
Yes! We offer delivery throughout the GTA and surrounding areas. Fees depend on your distance from our office. Just let us know your address when booking.
What if I need a van for a few weeks or more?
We offer discounted rates for weekly or monthly rentals. Many customers use our rentals during rehabilitation or while waiting for a new accessible vehicle.
Are your rental vans suitable for power chairs or scooters?
Absolutely. Our power ramp vans are ideal for both manual and powered mobility devices. If you're not sure which option is best, we're happy to help you choose.
What happens if I go over the included kilometres?
Extra kilometres are billed at $0.20/km. We'll review your estimated travel needs during booking to ensure you're set up with the right plan.
Do I need special insurance to rent?
No special insurance is needed, but you'll need either a personal auto policy or a major credit card that offers rental coverage. We'll walk you through it if you're unsure.
