The Toronto Power Wheelchair Hockey League People with physical disabilities have few resources for recreational opportunities and require adaptive equipment to meet their physical limitations. To break this barrier The Toronto Power Wheelchair Hockey League (TPWHL) brings players together for a pleasurable afternoon of competitive Hockey.
The TPWHL is for kids and young adults with various disabilities who have limited upper body strength and/or mobility. We work hard towards physical and emotional growth by teaching the game of hockey. This builds players into strong leaders in sportsmanship and team spirit, regardless of their skill level.
Power Wheelchair Hockey is fun and exciting with individual challenges as well as friendly competition for all! It provides the opportunity for families to come together to share their own experiences and offer support to one another. Be Apart of The Team! Come join us at:
Sunny View Public School, 450 Blythwood Road.

- "The great thing about this sport is that people who may find it difficult to play other sports due to their disability can be an MVP for their team. They may not be able to hold a stick, but if they can use their chair to prevent the other team from scoring, that’s just as important as scoring goals."
- "Even if you think you won’t be able to do it, come out and try. I know you’ll be glad you did. I was!
